Product Description
Doing your work independently and starting your work right away are definitely 2 behaviors we are working on with some students. This social story reiterates that it is expected behavior to start work right away, even if you might have a question. We also tell our students to try on their own 3 times before RAISING THEIR HAND AND WAITING TO BE CALLED on by the teacher. We use our expected and unexpected behavior diagram to show students the perspective of others. At the end is a 1 page worksheet to determine comprehension of the lesson.
