Product Description
Working mats to use during large and small group learning time. The mats include a 100's chart, set of 2 ten frames, pattern bears to practice creating patterns, number line, abc chart, counting bubblegum, build a word ice cream scoops.
To use these mats I either laminate them or put in page protectors, you can copy them double sided so you don't need as many. I put them in a prong folder or you can use a binder if you have other things.

For the abc mat and build a word scoops, i tape or glue a small sentence strip on the bottom/side for children to practice the letters or practice writing the word. Below is how to use each mat

100's chart- Have children practice finding numbers, counting and pointing to see how high they can count, for older children finding number patters in the chart.

10's frame- Roll a dice or pick a card and practice coloring in 10's frame to represent the number with dry erase markers (could also use different counters)

Number Line- Roll a dice or pick a card and practice "hopping" to the number on the number line. Can also use for practice before and after numbers, simple addition stories.

Counting Bubblegum- Roll a dice or pick a number and add that amount of counters or "bubblegum" to the machine. I like to use the clear colored counters because they look more like actual bubblegum!

Pattern Bears- Use dry erase markers to practice creating AB,ABB,ABA,ABC patterns

ABC Chart- Say a letter or sound and have children find it on their chart, and then practice writing in the sentence strip you attach below.

Build a word ice cream scoops- Have children build CVC words by giving them a sound and having them write a letter in each scoop. They can then practice writing the word in the sentence strip you attach.

****TIP- I highlight the outline of each ice cream scoop so they do not get confused****

Each page has an animal in the corner, so children can easily find the page you want them to be on :)
