This is a packet I use with my kids when we move from numbers higher than 100 in third grade. Once you cut that hundreds chart and they need a little more practice with numbers. This is a great take it to your seat activity as well as centers or small group work.
3 matching mats- matching numbers in standard form to their word form/expanded form; also an answer key for each
four break it down sheets- each comes with an answer key. Students sketch it, expanded it, write it in word form, and decompose into hundreds tens and ones
Two find it pages- students must find all of the equations and words that equal a particular number; each comes with an answer key.
nine number strips-students identify various numbers that come before and after given numbers. Each strip has an answer key as well.
I laminate these and put them in a binder with a dry erase marker to be used over an over again. They also work as a great assessment tool for standard 3NBT 1
