Working with Less Than, Greater Than and Equal To with Lesson Resources

Supporting document included
This is an additional download that supports the video.
This is a video that I created to help students with less than, greater than, and equal to. I use Alligator sticks and a Mr. Alligator Poem to help build the understanding of how to use the symbols. The idea is for students to use the alligator for remembering which way the symbol is supposed to go in order to state the comparison correctly. This video could be used to share with your class, or just to provide some ideas for teaching this lesson.

This purchase also includes a couple of resource packets that can be used with this video. The first resource is a packet that includes the alligator sticks and poem.

The second packet, Alligator Less, than Greater than, allows students to compare numbers to 100.

This set includes:
- Alligator symbols
- 9 Pages of number strips
- 4 Practice sheets

Here are the links if you are interested:

The packets can be purchased individually from my TpT Store. The video, which is essentially free with the purchase of the two products, can be viewed for free on my YouTube channel
