Adult guided lessons: The first five lessons for each vowel are followed by adult directions. These should be used in a small group or 1:1 setting in order to prompt students towards which words to build. Students will need letter tiles or manipulatives.
Student directed lessons: The second five lessons are a repeat of above, but in a format that students can complete independently or at a station. Students will need letter tiles or manipulatives in order to build and record words made with the shown letters.
Student directed lessons with tiles: The third five lessons are a repeat of above, but cut out letter tiles are included at the bottom for students to manipulate and make the words.
All lessons contain four simple directives to complete at the bottom of the page to help students attend to the skills being practiced. In addition, there is space for students to build a challenge word. The challenge word is a five letter word built with all five of the shown letter tiles.
