Description

A 6-page worksheet designed to teach students how to perform advanced unit conversions using the conversion factor or unit factor method. This topic also known as dimensional analysis. The worksheet provides nearly 20 review questions for students to practice their technique.

I use this as a reading and review worksheet that follows my PowerPoint presentation product entitled PPT - The Metric System and Metric Conversions, which I use to introduce the topic to students. After showing the relevant PPT slides to my class and viewing a brief video clip, I hand out this activity for students to work on for the remainder of the lesson and for homework.
