This set of A to Z worksheets will help young students learn to identify sounds in words by coloring pictures that begin with (or, in some cases, contain) target letter sounds. The worksheets also provide students with the opportunity to practice writing their letters and coming up with other words that contain the target letter.
These worksheets are part of a larger set of A to Z worksheets, which you can get at a discounted rate when you purchase them together from the following link: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/156-Alphabet-Worksheets
For each letter of the alphabet, you will find two types of picture sounds worksheets:
1. The standard version is suitable for students who are actively learning their basic letters and sounds. These worksheets ask students to color the pictures that begin with a certain letter sound and write the correct letter under the pictures that begin with a different letter sound.
2. The challenge version is more appropriate for students who know most or all their basic letter sounds and have started to explore more advanced concepts such as identifying letters, blends, or digraphs that make tricky sounds (such as the "s" which sounds like /z/ in "cheese", and /tr/ which can sound like /ch/ at the beginning of "tree".)
P.S. I value constructive feedback and new followers!
