Description

This is a lot of fun! Need a new way to teach Human-Environment Interaction in Europe and Russia? This is how you do it. Have students pretend to be a Cold War spy who needs to escape since their identity has been discovered. They have to go from safe house to safe house until they are safe. This is a unique way to teach about Siberia, the Trans-Siberian Railway, Chernobyl, Aral Sea and Amsterdam. All important examples of HEI! Comes with a worksheet for students to complete. Takes most students 30-60 minutes to complete the puzzle and about 30-40 minutes to complete the worksheet. This activity is complemented by my HUMAN ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION JIGSAW PUZZLE. These two activities will teach your students HEI in a new, creative way. Check out my other lessons at Change the Way You Teach! Emergency lesson plans, murder mysteries, choose your own adventures and more!
