Engaging and fun introduction to a unit. Students must find each location by latitude and longitude, then answer three questions about the region or country using the internet and/or textbook. Each section must be approved before students are allowed to go to the next ‘checkpoint’. Provides an overview of the unit, using search and interpretation skills. Easily differentiated. This activity is generic, primarily for use in a computer lab. It is also available for McDougal-Littell World Geography and Holt World Geography Today and is one of nine Road Rallies for this textbook (one for each unit). Answer key and lesson plan included. See My Products and look for an “M” for McDougal or 'H' for Holt after the title.
