Description
Celebrate Valentine's Day in your world history class this year with this fun matching game that includes a variety of writing prompts that are Common Core-aligned. That's right. A game that doubles as a higher-order writing assignment all on Google Classroom™.
You will receive two separate Google Slides™. The first is the matching game with two summary questions, both of which will align with one Common Core Standard. The second slide is optional of course but students have an opportunity to answer questions to help them understand why each couple selected is important in world history. Afterall, we aren't necessarily celebrating some of these relationships - they aren't healthy. We are using them as a way to remember important events in world history.
The 12 couples included range from the ancient world - the 20th century and span Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and South America. Check out the preview to see the men included in the resource.
