Product Description
This is a primary source reading I use when teaching about Japan on Lady Murasaki, a diary entry of a woman from the Heian Period. After students read and annotate, they do SAT style questions on it to increase their ability to understand primary documents and practice for the standardized test.

This was adapted from History Makers, World History: Patterns of Interaction Textbook.
