Product Description
This is a primary source reading I use when teaching about the Age of Absolutism. This is an adaptation of a primary source called Louis XIV’s Advice to His Son from Louis XIV King of France and of Navarre: Memories for the Instruction of the Dauphin reading that comes with the textbook World History: Patterns of Interaction. After students read and annotate, they do SAT style questions on it to increase their ability to understand primary documents and practice for the standardized test.
