A ”low prep” baseball activity for the sports fan to work on phonological awareness: rhyming, syllable segmentation, and phoneme identification. Just print, cut, and go!
Print out the deck of cards. Use card stock or laminator for durability.
Print out baseball board game if needed. Use cardstock or laminator for durability.
Each deck of cards has a cover card to help with organization.
Use the baseball field game board. After answering each baseball card, roll the dice and move the given amount of baseballs. Take turns and the first person to land on home base wins!
Use a ball of play doh to squish on top of each card after answering.
Use a paint dauber to mark each card after answering.
Use any board game! When it’s the player’s turn, pick a card from the given deck!
