This has a World War 2 Power Point (going over the whole war including the war at home in the US), the corresponding notes, corresponding guided notes that students can follow along and fill in, worksheets over materials with pictures and questions that go along with the PowerPoint as well as a end of the unit wrap up worksheet (I usually make this homework to prepare them for the test) that I have created that goes along with the PowerPoint that includes questions and vocabulary words. This also comes along with a 4 Self Studies (These are typed up worksheets about a few topic with questions that go along with the reading). The Self Studies cover the following topics: OBJ #1- Governments, OBJ #4-Pearl Harbor, OBJ #5- The War at Home, and OBJ #7-Atomic Bomb. Please be aware there are only 4 self studies, but there are notes and PowerPoint on all the topics.
This has everything you will need to teach WW2 (notes and questions wise). I have used this with Middle and High school students and it works great for both levels.
I break the Power Point/Notes into Objective numbers, for example Objective #1 covers Governments in Europe, Objective #2 covers Causes of World War 2, etc. This keeps it manageable for the students and teacher, thus, students know what was learned on each day.
I have used this unit many, many times and have GREAT success with students retention of material.
