Students review the events of WW2 (WWII) by organizing 29 items on a timeline and answering 4 questions. They also classify each item according to a system detailed in the instructions, they have one task to complete for 6 items of their choice, and another task to complete for 4 other items of their choice. There are arrows in the first two lines of the timeline showing students the direction to fill out the pieces in. This could work for a sub! Answers are provided where appropriate. This is appropriate for US History or World History.
Sample timeline items and questions include:
--America issues Neutrality Acts
--Bataan Death March
--How was World War 2 different from other wars up to this point in time and why?
--Consider a scenario where the Axis powers won the war. What would that have meant for the wider world over the next few decades? Explain your thinking.
