Product Description

Overview:

Students will use their knowledge of the 1920s and WWI eras to identify relationships between people, events, & landmark court cases. The idea is that students are split into groups (no bigger than five is suggested). They are then given the names/events on individual cards. As they work together to identify the relationships, the teacher should circulate the room to clarify relationships and give hints to students. The attached worksheet is for students to track the relationships as they go and take with them to study.

Ideas for use:

- test review

- as a challenge for groups to "win" extra credit points

- cooperative groups with only one group paper turned in

- informal formative assessment

Important notes:

- justifications can and will vary for student groups

- included answer key is an example

- prep time is under thirty minutes (even less with guillotine cutter)
