This wonderful review game is fun, competitive, and effective! This game gets all students actively thinking about key terms of World War I - which is how they learn! Each House of History slide has six World War I terms that teams work to identify by giving clues to their partner. The clue-giver can see the terms on the projection, while their partner is facing away from the projection, so they can not see the terms. The teacher can choose which version students play - Catch Phrase, Pictionary, or Charades.
No Man's Land
Archduke Franz Ferdinand
League of Nations
Treaty of Versailles
I usually let my students play House of History at the end of each unit for test prep. Students beg to play the game, they love it! Give it a try, I have complete confidence your students will love this game.
Please let me know if you have questions about the game. Enjoy!
