28 memory cards designed to help students review key World War I people, events, and terms. Repeated exposure to vocabulary while students are playing game help increase retention.
Cards are designed to be copied front top back with cover page to prevent students from peeking through the cards. Student pages are designed in printer friendly black and white.
Great middle school resource to break up longer class periods and give students a chance to interact with their peers. My ELL and IEP students have benefited from being able to work through vocabulary in smaller groups with less pressure.
I also like leaving this resource with substitutes in case they have a few minutes left over at the end of class.
