The following is a World War I Newspaper activity for U.S. History in which students are given a "newspaper template" and instructed to write 3 articles from a first person point of view regarding the war on the home front in the United States. The topics students are instructed to create and write articles for are as follows:

#1 - Social Changes brought about by WWI for Women, African-Americans, and Immigrants.
#2 - Wartime Agencies and laws established by the United States government during World War I.
#3 - A propaganda article about a famous war hero like Alvin York or Eddie Rickenbacker.
