Each page has comprehension questions as well. Some of the pages include essential vocabulary words along with their definitions to help students gain a deeper understanding of the text. There is an assessment at the end that includes multiple choice questions, True/False statements, and matching. The topics include Pearl Harbor, beginning of the war, Axis powers, Allies, the war at home, Korematsu v. US, D-Day, Harry Truman, The Atomic Bomb, Manhattan Project, Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust, and the Nuremberg Trials.
