Students will learn about the internment of Japanese citizens after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. They will use primary sources to evaluate how it occurred and get a feel for what it was like. They will read a summary of the Bill of Rights and a brief explanation of the Supreme Court's decision on the matter. Students will then evaluate the constitutionality of the internment. This lesson will require teacher led discussions and support.
