This PowerPoint presentation contains 21 slides. It can be broken into two sections. The first section details the events that led up to US involvement in WWII. The second section provides some basic information about some of the most significant battles of WWII. It covers material such as lend-lease, good neighbor policy, neutrality, cash and carry, FDR, Hitler, Stalin, Battle of Midway, Stalingrad, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, and more. This is a great survey of World War II. It ends by questioning the need to drop the atomic bomb. Would be a good launching point for further research on that topic. This file may be altered and suited to your needs. The notes area of the presentation includes notes for the instructor.
