WWII- Part 1
--This was such an epic part of United States history, and must be taught well. I have spent a great deal of time researching this part of history and have created a unique and interesting powerpoint with teacher notes. The notes are a result of many weeks looking into the important facts and events, as well as history that gets lost in current high school textbooks.
*The powerpoint is perfect for high school United States history courses because it provides a host of visuals, allowing students to relate to the information in a more sensory way. The powerpoint itself presents a showering of photographs, political cartoons, maps, newspapers, and videos.
*The teacher notes accompanying the powerpoint, are a slide by slide, easy to follow design. The notes not only discuss all the pertinent information dealing with the war, it also has great information that students will find interesting. These notes are perfect for all classes, especially AP US history courses. I added interesting side notes in purple that can be edited out, if teachers are worried about time.
*There is a students handout that accompanies the powerpoint, which allows the students to take notes on the powerpoint presentation.
**The end of the powerpoint has all the KeyIDs from the War.
***Coming Soon: WWII (Part 2): The Home front.
