In this World War II RPG, students take command of both the U.S. homefront and military. The game has seven rounds, with each round being a year from 1939-1945. Using what they know about the World War II timeline, students will decide what area of the economy and military need reinforcing based on the current year. Their goal is acquire war score, which is a number representing whether their decisions are leading the nation to victory. The game is historically accurate, with major battles and homefront actions being accounted for in the game's mechanics.
Included in the file are the game instructions to introduce the game to the students, the tables in which students play the game, the result tables for the teacher to read with short historical explanations , and a brief set of instructions with key teaching points from the game.
I take pride in creating in-depth games that are not only enjoyable, but also that serve to educate students about key historical content. I always appreciate feedback and new ideas.
