Do you need an activity to teach the battles in Europe during World War II? Look no further!
This "World War II: The European Theatre " Activity includes:
1) A document-based activity that tests your students knowledge of what happened during the war in Europe. This will get your students minds ready for the next portion of the activity, analyzing letters home and diaries from soldiers. Students will read these primary sources and answer questions that help them synthesize the information. Students will be able to step into the shoes of the people fighting in the war in order to see what life was like for them. This is a great activity to help engage students in real life stories from the front.
This activity can be used in many different ways in the classroom. Students can work independently, in pairs or this activity can be used as a jigsaw in order to facilitate a class wide discussion about the topics discussed in the activity.
2) A detailed answer key to the lesson activity to save you time and help guide student comprehension.
