PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The following is a 37 slide PPT covering the main ideas, people, battles, causes, and effects of World War II in the Pacific Theater.
This PPT begins with Japanese aggression prior to Pearl Harbor, then moves onto the bombing of Pearl Harbor, followed by more acts of aggression in the Pacific by Japan, then onto the Allied strategy and offensive covering all the major battles of the war in the Pacific Theater, followed the Manhattan Project and Truman's decision on whether or not to drop the bomb, followed by the dropping of the atomic bomb (twice), finishing with surrender by the Japanese and V.J. Day.
Each slide has illustrations in the form of primary source pictures or maps. This PPT is easy to teach from and easy for students to learn base knowledge from and take notes from to help transition students into deeper learning through activities in class.
