In need of a culminating project for your World War Two unit?

Included in this 5 page document are instructions and a grading rubric for making a set of World War Two trading cards. Students can choose six topics (one for each card). The front of the 3x5 or 4x6 index card will have a picture, name, and if applicable, the Allies or Axis Powers. On the back they write a “mini essay” about the topic telling about the person, event or battle and its significance in World War Two. The “mini essay” will have to be cited for their information. 30 choices of topics range from major battles (Stalingrad, Iwo Jima, D-Day/Operation Overlord) to events (Holocaust, Hiroshima, and earl Harbor) to famous figures (Roosevelt, Hitler, MacArthur, and Hirohito). A rubric is included for your use.
