After you have covered WWII, it is time to cover some of the problems/challenges it left. Tell the class that they are the Allies. Congratulate them for winning the war, and now it is up to them to resolve some of these challenges. Make them do it in pairs. Issues included here are what to do with high ranking SS officers, how to protect Jews from a future Holocaust, and whether aid should be given to former enemies to rebuild after the war.
Then go over it with them and give away what really happened. Because students have already thought about their own solutions, they will remember more when you give away what really happened. By Creative Educator
