In this highly-engaging lesson, students learn about the Rise of Germany following the Treaty of Versailles (and the end of World War I) until the outbreak of World War II.
Through guided notes, a 29-slide interactive PowerPoint presentation, 2 video clips, and a graphic organizer, students learn about the failures of the Treaty of Versailles, the excessive reparations placed upon Germany, how Hitler became very appealing to the German people, and how Hitler ultimately used his power to violate the Treaty of Versailles. Students also learn about the European policy of appeasement!
Once complete, students are able to understand how World War I essentially created an environment for World War II. A Google 1:1 compatible version is included in this product! Use in either a traditional setting or in the 1:1 environment!
