This is a great way to grab students attention in relation to World War II. It is easy to focus on the big concepts and politics of World War II. But what about the average person and their experience during World War II. This lesson tells the story of average people during the war and assigns an identity to the students in class which they follow throughout the unit. This is also a great way to get your student to practice reflective writing through journal writing. Included is the a list of people and their story. Also is the lesson plan that will teach the lesson.
