PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I use this lesson as part of a unit on the First World War and life in the trenches. In this lesson the students have to identify the interpretation of the war of two two poets based on their poems. Then the students have to write their own poem from either point of view.

The lesson preview is a shortened PDF version of the powerpoint to give you an idea of what the lesson includes. There is one photo on the presentation that is quite graphic showing mens bodies waiting t0 be buried. The real powerpoint is customisable so you could delete this if you do not think it is suitable for your students. I use this lesson with 13 year olds and it is generally ok.

Included:
- 11 slide powerpoint
- handout with the poems on it.
- Lesson plan
