As the end of the year approaches, we are all looking for fun, interesting and celebratory ways to wind down on a positive note. I developed this scavenger hunt over the course of 4 years being in charge of our annual 4th-5th grade party. We had over 40 children VERY engaged in small-group problem-solving for two hours, without fail!
The 44 items are unique, compelling, and require the kids to be resourceful, cooperative, methodical and even silly! There is a solid 3-4 hours worth of "hunt" here so in most cases this is really two scavenger hunts, as you'll want to save some items for next year. Also included is a page of 6 rulesfleshed out and edited over 4 yearsthat guarantees the Hunt goes well, is safe and fun for all.
Kids will need to move around a building or part of a building to be able to take full advantage of the scavenger hunt.
I hope you enjoy this scavenger hunt as much as my staff and students have enjoyed it over the years. This is something everyone has come to look forward to and it's my pleasure to share it!.
