Product Description
Engage in conversation with your students using these "Would You Rather...?" questions. After we have practiced in a small group setting, my students love going around campus to initiate conversation with staff and other students. This is a very helpful tool to practice carryover of language, social, and articulation skills while having some Summer fun! Packet includes:

20 conversation starter cards – students practice peer interaction, reasoning, and questioning skills to ask and answer questions within the Summer theme

Cue cards for conversation & WHY questions – visual reminders for students as they learn how to answer questions and maintain conversations. These are also helpful to send home so that parents can follow-up using the same “language” being taught in class

Articulation recording sheet – Students can practice searching for, writing, and saying their target sounds. Opportunities to practice at the word, sentence, and conversation levels.

Reasoning recording sheets – Students can draw or write their responses. Students can draw or write their responses. The recording sheets are good to use for home or class carryover

Printing hint: If I am sending them home, I like to print the cards 2 sheets per page. I make sure it is in landscape mode for printing. This will allow me to print 8 cards per page. I print these in b/w. I have included two sets of cards: you can choose to print in color (pages 4-8) or use the b/w cards (pages 10-14) to print on Summer-inspired colored paper. I like to print on card stock (white when I print in color or colored when I print in b/w) to save a step in making sturdy cards.

Enjoy! Emily
