This is an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure style activity in which students will learn how difficult it was to survive through the Holocaust. This acts as a simulation and takes students through real, first-hand accounts of experiences in the camps.
This was originally developed as an introduction to Night by Elie Wiesel, supplemented with pieces of Maus I and II by Art Spiegelman. Therefore, much of the content is adapted from experiences described in those books. That said, this could be useful for any lesson dealing with the Holocaust.
This will require a little bit of upfront work for the teacher. In order to reduce the amount of printing required, several pieces have been grouped on most sheets and will need to be cut apart.
