This freebie is a fun way to practice area and/or perimeter during the holidays!
Use a ruler to cut 12 pieces of wrapping paper in different sizes. (You can use inches or centimeters.) Label the back of each piece of wrapping paper with letters A-L. Spread the pieces of wrapping paper around the room or place in a center. Have students use rulers to measure the area, perimeter or both.
I included recording sheets for area, perimeter and one for both. You choose the recording sheet that best meets your class needs or use multiple versions to differentiate within your class.
