I created this novel study to help my students engage with the wonderful novel, Wringer, by Jerry Spinelli. This packet can be used for independent work and/or small group work and includes character study, vocabulary, conflict analysis, figurative language, theme, and more. The study is aligned with Virginia SOLs (Standards of Learning) for ELA and CCSS (Common Core State Standards). *UPDATED* 5/10/2020 to include a Google drive version!

I have read Wringer aloud to my fifth graders for years. Day-to-day lessons are included in this bundle:

Wringer Novel Study Bundle

Day-to-day lessons are complementary to this packet, but it is not necessary to purchase both this Novel Study Packet and the Bundle as they are each comprehensive.
