This activity is fun for your students and is perfect to help students listen for beginning sounds in words. This product includes 110 cards.
To Use: Print out on white cardstock. Cut apart. Laminate for durability.
You can use the cards during guided reading groups. Have the students verbally tell you the name of the picture before writing. This will show you if they know the picture and if they are hearing the correct beginning sound. Students can then write beginning sound with a dry erase marker or use letter magnets.
This can also be used in a literacy center for students to practice independently.
