PICK TWO ACTIVITY
and subject-verb agreement
are not easy concepts for students to understand in the beginning. I am excited to offer this engaging PowerPoint activity that will get students creating sentences using ser+adjectives
to construct simple sentences describing people. The activity focuses on adjectives to describe people as gender is easier for students to understand when it refers to people. I love that this unique, fully animated Powerpoint can involve students in so many ways … a game, a competition, a challenge, an assessment, a beat the clock activity, student choice of adjectives! Use your imagination and have fun with it! As making PowerPoints, makes me a happy camper. I love that I can offer quality products at low prices to help ease the time and stress involved in teacher prep. I think that this extensive presentation will benefit the students in your class.
More About This Product
Although this PowerPoint is only 5-slides long, please don’t let it fool you. You have to see this one in action to understand the full extent of what it does. The variety of combinations of subjects and adjectives is provided through the animations and triggers built into the game board. To use, first a student picks a number from the purple side, which when clicked reveals a subject. Next a letter is called from the orange side, which on click reveals an adjective. Now it’s sentence constructing time. Students use their knowledge of ser
and adjective agreement
to create a grammatically correct sentence. After the sentences are revealed, self-corrected, peer-corrected, or explained, click on the subject
square and the adjective
square. This will once again conceal the words and make them available to use again in a different combination.
This is a read-only file.
