This gingerbread themed center is designed for your K-1 classroom.
The center is a handy “write & wipe” activity. Students will write on the cards with a dry erase marker, and then erase. Great for centers or small group work. An optional recording sheet is provided, as well as task cards and number lines.
In this center, students will write inequality symbols (<, >, or =) to compare sets of gumdrops to 15. Students will use a dry erase marker to “write and wipe” on the cards.
There are two card versions:
*In one set, the student writes only the inequality symbol.
*In the second set, the student counts the gumdrops and writes the number, and then writes the inequality symbol.
There are 80 cards in each set.
Students may then choose some of their inequalities to write on their recording sheet.
Print the cards you wish for your students to practice. Laminate and cut apart.
Print the task card and laminate.
Print a recording sheet for each child (optional).
You will need to provide dry erase markers in order for students to write and wipe on the cards.
Please see the preview file for example cards.
