Product Description
Use this graphic organizer when exploring figurative vs. literal language through idioms. Kids start by defining figurative and literal, and then define 12 well-known idioms. For each one, they draw a picture of the idiom's literal meaning (very funny!), and then write the figurative meaning. At the end, they get to write their own idiom! In our class, we voted for our favorite idiom and started using it as a class throughout the year!
