Product Description
The directions state, "Write a 7-10 sentence paragraph of your own from which you will create three questions that require inferences. In other words, don’t directly write the answers in the paragraph. You need to imply or hint at them and make the reader figure them out!"

The student is supposed to create one easy, one medium, and one difficult inference-based question to go along with the paragraph. Students could then exchange paragraphs and try to answer each other's questions. This activity gets students thinking about inferences from an author or test-maker's perspective. For example, a student should be thinking, "What details do I need to include to hint at what I want my reader to understand without directly stating it?"
