Losing a tooth is a major life event for our primary students. Isn't it rewarding to channel this natural enthusiasm into a love of writing letters?
This fun resource will give your students the support to write a great letter.
Word Bank: I've divided the word bank into categories. The "Greeting Words" and "Closing Words" sections help your students practice how to open and close a letter. The "Question Words" and "Tooth Fairy Words" sections help them craft great asking and telling sentences.
The remaining 7 pages are forms for your students to write their letters on. To meet the developmental needs of your students I've included forms with 3 different line sizes. For each line size, I've included one form that has a date, greeting and closing prompt and one that doesn't. In addition, I've included one page that has the greeting "Dear Tooth Fairy," already typed in.
I'd like to thank Laura Strickland for creating and sharing her adorable clip art, and for supporting teachers. The cute tooth fairy image in this resource came from her website MyCuteGraphics. www.mycutegraphics.com.
