This activity gives students an opportunity to research, take notes, and write about a favorite president. It is especially helpful to students who are just beginning to determine the difference between fact and opinion in research.
1. Write the president's name and draw a portrait.
2. Record 2 facts and 1 opinion about the chosen president.
3. Use this information to write 3 or more complete sentences to form a paragraph.
