Your students will have tons of fun writing with this Doodle 'n' Write writing prompt set. Your students are giving directions to doodle something down in the box provided and then write to a given prompt.
This helps those students who have a difficult time brainstorming, and they love creating the illustrations before they write. There are 25 writing prompts with lines for older elementary students and lines for younger elementary.
Some examples of the prompts that are included are:
Draw a picture of two people taking a hot air balloon ride. Where do they go? What do they see on their journey?
Draw a picture of a cat and a goldfish who are best friends. Write about what they do on the weekend and how they interact with each other.
Draw a picture of a meal you would make for the president. What meal would it be? Write about the president eating and enjoying your meal.
Plus 23 other great Doodle 'n' Write Writing Prompts for your students!
