Common Core Standards are included. This packet contains R-Controlled Vowels: ar, are, air, ear (air sound) or, ore, oar, er, eer, ear, ir, and ur! There are a few words with multi-syllable words to challenge your higher readers such as flower and cheerleader. Most are one syllable.
You can give these children out as worksheets for independent work, early finisher work, small groups, or centers OR you can staple them into a booklet and have the children work on them each work or day and have a nice book to take home when completed. You could also use it as a form of assessment to see if the children can read words with r-controlled vowels.
