Picture Dictionaries are great resources for both your classroom library and your students' writing folders. They love seeing their work become a classroom resource! Using this template, students can create their own Picture Dictionaries or contribute to a class book. It can be used as part of your beginning sound study, or your students can continue to add to it throughout the year.
Each page features the beginning letter in both upper- and lower-case, space for illustrating the focus word, and primary-ruled writing grids for labeling the word and using it in a sentence. Template includes a cover page and 27 dictionary pages, one for each letter of the alphabet and one blank page for your students to practice writing the letters themselves.
