Use this Write and Wipe Syllables game as a great resource to review Hebrew reading (Kriah), with a focus on dividing syllables to read words with and without shva.
With cardstock paper and a laminating machine, you can create your own dry-erase mat.Students use a dry erase marker to write a word in syllables and then lift the mat to check if they were correct,
This activity can be used as a Kriah (Hebrew reading) center or for independent work. This is a great self-checking activity. You can print multiple copies and have several students working on this activity independently, or have students work in pairs.
Includes directions, syllable cards and write and wipe mat (must be laminated).
Note: There are two sets of word cards- a small set of words without shva and a larger set of words with shva na and shva noch. The shva cards have a star on them for easy organization.
