Ready to go back to school after the winter break? Let this product help you be ready for active student engagement! This activity has a set of 14 or 15 words for your students to find and write around the classroom.
These January words are: cocoa, snowflake, snow shovel, snowbird, sledding, snow angel, snowman, ice skate, mittens, scarf, boots, coat, hat, earmuffs, and snow pants. I have made an alternative for word #14, which is Martin Luther King, Jr., because many classrooms across the US study him.
I have also made a "save my ink" version without the colored background paper. You can choose the version you want to use. There is a student recording sheet that the students use for writing the words.
The activity will keep your little ones actively engaged as well as practicing their writing skills!
I have other January and winter activities in both English and Spanish. Please see my TPT store to view my other products: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Learning-Little-Ones
