Teach your students all about dental health with this fun write the room activity. This center is a great way to reinforce key words and concepts you want them to learn as part of your dental health unit.
What to do: Cut and laminate the following pictures. Place them around the classroom (i.e. on doors, shelves, walls, cubbies, etc.) for students to “read” (using a pointer) and then “write” (record) on the worksheets included in this package, which are all differentiated.
Tip: It’s a great idea to use these words as an introduction to your theme and discuss what each one means before placing around the room.
The worksheets can be printed in color and then placed in a plastic sheet protector. Have your students use dry erase markers to write and wipe so you can save on photocopying paper!
I have included 18 theme words (such as toothpaste, teeth) all based on dental health. Included you will find picture cards with both the word and the word and picture and I have created numerous worksheets for the various levels of your students.
