My students LOVE hunting the room for new words during Literacy Centers. This is a set of four "spring" themed Word Hunts. Simply print, laminate (optional), cut, and tape around the room. Then send your students off with clipboards to HUNT for the words. They will write each word on the sheet under the picture shown.
Not only fun for the kids, but I have fun finding new hiding places, too. (ohhh the joys of a Kindergarten teacher)
Spring Themes include:
Spring Words: boots, cloud, popsicle, kite, umbrella, flowers, bee, rain, bird, chick, eggs, bunny
Plant Words: seeds, flower, soil, worm, sprout, roots, plant, leaf, sun, water, tree, stem
Earth Day Words: plastic, trash, Earth, cardboard, energy, conserve, recycle, glass, metal, litter, paper, container
Cinco de mayo Words: flag, maraca, piñata, sombrero, Mexico, peppers, cactus, nachos, party, banner
